For those who read the description
Red Star Poker entered the market in 2005 and used to be a sking of the Cake Poker Network.
Their flagship brand Cake Poker and the entire network saw its downfall due to not processing cashout payments within the advertised timeframe. This lead to Cake being absolved by Lock Poker in 2012 and the following year Red Star Poker joined the Microgaming network instead.
Red Star Poker uses MPN (Microgaming Partner Network) software, which has acquired several awards in the past including ‘Poker Software of the Year’ in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, while the Microgaming network itself won ‘Poker Network of the Year’ by EGR, most recently in 2014.
The website is dedicated to offering the full poker experience, so you will find many popular poker variants such as the essential Hold’em and Omaha, but also 7 Card Stud, Razz, 5 Card Stud and 5 Card Draw. They also have their version of the Fast-fold craze named Blaze Poker.
Red Star Poker runs daily freerolls for all types of games and all players can enter irrespective of their Loyalty level or time spent on the tables. The exception is the €3,000 Sunday Freeroll where only players who played at least 100 raked hands within 7 days before the tournament will be able to take part.
For those who like to mix it up a bit, Red Star Poker also offers casino games, including a large selection of Live dealer tables, and sports bets as well.
Red Star Poker has a decent traffic around the clock with average of 2,000 players online most of the time. There’s plenty of action on the cash tables, especially the low and middle stakes, but not so much if you want to play high stakes. Unfortunately, the Sit’n’Go tournaments take a while to start despite most of them being 6-handed. This is a bit disappointing, especially if you like to grind on these.
The multi-table tournaments sport some impressive guarantees, and not too many players compete there, which is great value for your time and money. You can easily go to final table without having to endure the long hours, and occasionally, you will take advantage of a nice overlay.
SOFTWARE AND TRACKER SUPORT
All popular trackers work in the room, converters are not needed. The room has a feature, statistics are collected only in those hands in which you took part. There are three standard layouts for the lobby of the room. One of them is optimized for mobile application.
DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWAL METHODS
Red Star Poker’s Cashier supports a long list of popular payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, Moneta.ru, WebMoney, Paysafecard, and many others.
You can even pay with bitcoins, if you like. Should you choose that option, the amount you deposit will be converted to EUR or USD and it won’t be affected by any changes to the market price of the digital currency.
For withdrawal (cash-outs) are available:
- Visa / MasterCard;
- Skrill / Neteller;
- WebMoney / Qiwi;
- BankWire Transfer.
- Not enough traffic at higher stake cash tables and Sit’n’Go;
- Graphics and overall design is unimpressive
