Briefly – BetOnline poker is part of the Chico Poker Network, but since 2016 it’s been using the poker software developed by Connective Games. The operator has a large selection of games, including sports bets, casino, e-sports, financial betting, and even horse racing.
BetOnline Poker is compatible with the most common devices – desktop and mobile. Good news is, you can play directly in your browser and avoid installing the software. BetOnline poker does not participate in the war against HUDs, so you won’t have any trouble using them on the poker tables.
You can also take advantage of the Poker Odds calculator available for download on the website. It works in addition to the download software, so you can’t use it in the Flash client.

BetOnline is certainly one of the top US-facing operators to look out for. As a website offering sportsbook and casino, the poker player pool is swarming with amateurs. Granted, you won’t find much action on the high stake tables, but there are plenty of low and mid stakes tables running, where you can grind for hours. Unfortunately, there are no heads-up tables available.
Customer satisfaction is really high on BetOnline’s priority list, which is why they promise to process payments on the same day. Another upside is you can use a number of digital currencies to fund your account as opposed to just the orthodox payment methods.

Traffic review

BetOnline poker’s player pool consists mostly of US and Canadian players, so the traffic peaks in their evenings when you can see more than 1,200 players online. Most of the traffic is concentrated on NL Hold’em, where you will find 30 tables running on NL10 and another 20 on NL25 (most of them 6-seaters). Traffic is steady on NL50 as well, but on NL100 and NL200 and higher the action dies down and only a few tables are running.

BetOnline Poker has PL Omaha and PL Omaha H/L with around 10 tables live on low stakes and a few on mid stakes as well. FL Omaha barely gets any attention, most of the time the tables are empty.
There is also a fast-fold variant, but it’s not getting any love either. The same thing goes for the tournaments, the selection is very limited and so is the interest. Keep an eye out for the weekend guarantees though, as they tend to attract lots of recreational players.

Software and trackers support

You can choose between playing in the Flash lobby or downloading the software, which is available for PC and Mac. The new software provided by Connective Games easily takes BetOnline poker a step ahead of the other Chico skins.
You can also play poker online using the mobile version, provided you have an iPhone/iPad or Android device. If you’re using iOS, you need an iPad 3 or higher and iPhone 5 or higher and you can play through your mobile web browser.
For Android users, there is a dedicated app, which you can install on your mobile device. The app is compatible with Android OS 6 or higher. The design and functionality are top-notch and the app even supports multi-tabling.

You will find the most common deposit options in BetOnline poker’s Cashier, such as Visa, Mastercard, and e-wallets like Skrill, Neteller, and Entropay. If you prefer the digital currencies, BetOnline poker’s got you covered. You can choose from BTC, Etherium, Dash, and Litecoin.
Pretty much all the deposit options can also be used for withdrawals, with the exception of Visa/Mastercard.
In addition to the variety of payment options, BetOnline poker also offers same-day cashouts, so as soon as you earn some winnings, rest assured, you will be able to withdraw them quickly.

• The poker client design is quite outdated, lacking in functionality
• No heads-up cash tables
• Low traffic on high stakes and tournaments
